For flight ops purposes yes; for flight booking purposes probably no. I do not think you can do a SDC to a later flight that is scheduled to depart after midnight without significant level of human intervention (I.e. supervision overrides) under normal circumstances. I'm saying this based on personal experience and other first hand accounts that I have come across.
