He is not in touch with the BA customer ... He is in touch with the Vueling customer ...
In my opinion he is just a tool of BA share holders .. and a partially blunt one if his first blurtings are to be observed .
This is 2016 - the gulf between a Vueling customer and a BA customer isn't quite as wide as many people on here still believe it is!
That being said, of course that doesn't give carte blanche for them to upset their existing most profitable customers. They're a minority, but they're a profitable minority.
