To put it bluntly: I don't give a sh!t about the profit. I fly as a passenger, not as a shareholder. IAG is profitable enough as it is. If AF (or QR or CX or AA) offer me a better passenger experience at the sacrifice of their 'shareholder value' they will get my business.

The sanctification of 'shareholder value' and subsequent focus on short term profits is what is wrong with business nowadays.
