As an aside, I had a chat with customer relations this morning and they said the situation was avoidable on the staff's part. Especially when taking into account she knew we weren't going to camp in there for hours.
I'm not entirely surprised by this CR response but I fear the same situation happening again and again as that's the rules unfortunately, as harsh as they may be in certain individual situations like above. My point being, would the outcome have been any different if it were the CR chap working on that front desk? Something tells me not.
