Wondering if anybody has come across this before -
I have a Chase Visa (US) which I got over a year ago for the 50k avios bonus, that's always credited to my account without issue. My girlfriend then created a new BAEC account, and we had them linked together in a household account. She then applied for and received a BA Chase Visa with similar promo terms, and while her statements show transfers to her BAEC account, the avios have never shown up. She's been credited avios for flights, so we know that her BAEC account is at least in 'working' order.
Interestingly enough, she's also received a letter from Chase informing her that since she's been subject to a promo in the last two years, that she can't get any new bonuses. She's never had a Chase card before, though.
Is there some chance that the accounts linked together in a household account are conferring some manner of my own status upon her that's being reported back to Chase, or does this sound like purely a Chase screw up? There's an inquiry in with Chase, and they're investigating...
