I was booking a hotel recently using Accor's app (Android) and wanted to use my points to reduce the rate of my booking but never got the option to use the points during the booking proces. Rather confused I turned towards the browser (on my tablet) and tried to do the same, never got the option.

Finally I started my computer only to get more frustrated as also on my computer it did not offer me to use my points. (my default browser is Chrome so I started with this browser) I tried again with Edge, no better. Finally I went with Firefox and this worked.

I also noticed that in Firefox I got more options to choose (if I remember well) a newspaper preference, high/low floor, ...

I don't know what can cause this. I was logged in on all three browsers, the major part of the booking process was equal on all three browsers, only this specific aspect was different.

I know that many elements/settings can influence the behavior of a browser but according to me this is some bad website design.
