Wait...what...C+ not available at checkin?
So I'm aware Delta is now selling C+ as a category of ticket fares, and I've seen the threads on that in the past.
Maybe I misunderstood.
I took it to mean you could buy C+ at time of purchase, but that if any C+ seats were still vacant at check-in, you could select those seats just as we always did before as Silver, Gold, ... etc.
I'm Silver now, about to make Gold. So I waited until 24 hours to checkin, I see there are eight seats available in C+ (SJC - DTW - EWR), but it tells me I can only pick seats within my purchased ticket category.
So um...
1. Did they get rid of checkin C+ seats as a benefit for medallion members?
2. If there are empty seats tomorrow when I takeoff, will they treat it the same as they have F complimentary upgrades?
