The plane pulls up to a parking spot, you get off the plane and stand next to it for a long time, everyone retrieves bags, you get on a bus to the terminal. It can eat up a ton of time. It looks like the SYR flights have been using jetbridges lately, looking at arrivals, but with a CRJ there is always a chance of ending up at 35X.
