I think that because of the separate bookings (plus different classes) his bp would be rejected at fast track. the answer is technically no as well for F check in, again because you are on separate bookings so his has really no reason to be handled by the F counter.
You don't have to be on the same booking for FastTrack - just hand your boarding passes to the agent at the entry gate.
