I think the problem is the reservation number because Orbitz only gave me itinerary number, confirmation number, ticket number, and booking ID. I've tried all of these and none of them work. I booked a flight JFK-ICN-SIN on Orbitz as well, and have no trouble pulling up my reservation on the Asiana site and even selecting seats.
The reservation number that Asiana wants is what Orbitz calls the
confirmation number that you should see when you view the itinerary on Orbitz / in the confirmation email itself (it should look something like ABC123(Asiana Airlines)).
If that still doesn't work it might be an issue with the first/last name: if you have your middle name in the reservation Asiana concatenates it with your first name (without spaces) and you have to put both in the "first name" field e.g. GEORGE WALKER BUSH becomes (first name) GEORGEWALKER (last name) BUSH.
