The frustration of Aeroplan, constant devaluation of the product and metal requirements sent me packing. After many years of Elite, I cashed in my miles for undervalued Apple gift cards and went to Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles. It is not a perfect product but the Turkish flights are usually better than AC. I will miss Air Canada somewhat but Aeroplan and Altitude not one bit.
