Had a friend ask me a question that I didn't know the answer to so I thought I'd ask it here- when checking in / paying for a reservation at an IC, what additional $ is reserved for their incidentals / room "damage" deposit?

He wants to pay for a one night stay (including any incidentals / deposits) with cash... which is something I've never done before.
