Exactly. Everywhere I've seen that "allows after hours returns" will have a drop box for the keys/paperwork. However, the renter is fully responsible for the vehicle (any damage to it, rental fees, etc) until an agent checks in the vehicle, *not* when it's dropped off. I've even had this return time be several hours after the site opened the following day!
