Isn't that just the point? The Cirrus seat is UNCOMFORTABLE! Surely that is the most important consideration? I have enjoyed the space in the new Cirrus herringbone layouts with direct aisle access for all seats, but the seat itself is incomparably inferior to the BA CW seat both for sitting and for sleeping.
How much of that is down to the fundamental seat design vs the choice of the airline with respect to padding material etc? I liked the Cirrus seat and didn't notice the discomfort, or at least not enough for it to stick in my head.
