Yes, lowest award levels. RSW to ANC 300 days out and tried again at around 270 days out. We fly 5 on that route every year connecting through MSP or ATL using Delta miles without a problem. I took advantage of the bonus offer with Virgin Atlantic and ended up having to use AA miles this year and will be flying American metal up and back.
Sorry to hear that. Makes me more reluctant to do the transfer if there are these kind of issues. My tickets were all nonstop, no connections. Maby that is easier for them? Other poster said they use them to Mexico, which Delta has had great availability non stop from MSP as well. I wonder if it is the slightly more complex routings vs has a problem with?
