Remember a year or two ago, a hotel used cell phone jammers because people were using their mobile data plans instead of buying their wifi?

Then Mariott petitioned the FCC to allow jamming because people could use their own Wifi networks to launch attacks on their hotel networks.

Hotels must be pissed people aren't paying for overpriced phone calls from rooms or consuming enough of the overpriced drinks and snacks from the mini bars.
