It seems that these days the price differences are getting smaller and also within Europe, no matter which country you choose, prices remains the same. I think Hertz has more or less close the loop at least within the European community.

Using the UK and US websites - prices are much more expensive than using the European websites.

These observations are at least what I have experienced the last few months.
