I too was underwhelmed by my first and only BA F flight It was from JFK on the daytime flight and the chef was running late so in the CCR it was typical cold cuts/breakfast offering that you could expect in a Galleries lounge.

The crew were great, was shown to my seat. asked how the flight was at the end but the breakfast food was medeocre.

Champagne was nice

No spa at JFK before flight and of course no arrivals lounge either.

In a way I suppose it was good to experience that as I am not constantly chasing F now or UUA. Quite happy with business class and the Iberia Business Plus is a good product.

Would it have been a different flight and time maybe my opions would differ.
