On your drive, you might want to tune into KCBS (740 AM) and listen to the traffic updates every ten minutes on the "eights" (:08, :18, etc.). If the Bay Bridge isn't slow, that would be faster than San Mateo. And of course there is always the possibility of a problem on the San Mateo bridge.
If traffic is still showing as "green" or yellowish/green when you depart the north bay, I'd take the Bay Bridge. I would plan on being at the toll plaza no later than 1030. 10 is better. Even if you have a modest amount of congestion, it will still be quicker than going to the SM Bridge, and it would not be uncommon to have issues on 880S. No Giants game here tomorrow.
Note that the Bay Bridge weekend bottleneck typically starts at the 580/80 merge in Albany. Also, typically, by 11AM it is a disaster.
