In my experience suite upgrades are hard to get at this property. I once got one in the new tower. It was a very nice one-bedroom suite, with fully separate sitting area, in typical Westin style. In the tower building I was given a 'suite' that was really just a long rectangular room. Since significant upgrades were so few I actually gave up on the Westin and started using other hotels or Airbnb in Sydney.
