Serving food that has gone bad
I've actually given up on writing feedbacks on the food presentation and quality to CX as it seems like nothing has come out of it. However looking bad is one thing, but actually serving food that has gone bad is totally unacceptable. It's not acceptable for any Low Cost Carrier and it's certainly not acceptable for a 5-star premium legacy carrier like Cathay Pacific.
So I picked the western option for today's breakfast to Taipei, I tried a little bit of everything and found something tasted odd, I tried the eggs, they were fine, the sausage and bacon were okay. I sample the mushroom and they were fine but when I got to the potato, they reallyed tasted sour, something that could only have come from something that has gone bad.
I quickly informed the crew about it, they later on reported to me that they checked the other dishes and they were indeed sour, and have gone bad. How could this have happened? The food was catered from HKG, the main hub of CPCS, what excuse would the airline have in serving spoiled food to customers flying in premium cabins?
