Went through the posts above, but did not see any comparisons between Rosewood Mayakoba and FS Punta Mita.
Gut feel is that FS Punta Mita is the superior choice?
I have stayed at both properties, and they are both wonderful. I would say the FS Punta Mita property and pools are superior. Both resorts have exceptional service, as expected.
However, if you are a beach person, and like clear, calm and warm Caribbean water, then Rosewood Mayakoba is the choice. David is right that most of the rooms at Mayakoba are far from the beach.
