The problem with The Yeatman is thst it is run as a marketing tool for Taylor's Port and Cockburns etc., which are owned by the hotel owners.
And this leads to the place being overrun by obnoxious tour groups. You won't see anything of them in your (great) room, but at the bar and worse in the "fine dining" restaurant where service is so slow (an exception in Portugal) that it is unbearable.
Definitely NOT a Relais & Châteaux, perhaps could be LHW.
