The problem with The Yeatman is thst it is run as a marketing tool for Taylor's Port and Cockburns etc., which are owned by the hotel owners. The other problem is that the owners do their own interior design and really should bring in a professional, as this hotel has always looked dated.

It is, however, a great place to stay in Porto. Very gracious service, OK food (not brilliant, I agree) and amazing views from every balcony. Also, Porto as a place, is better than ever, with some great new restaurants and shops. Well worth staying for a couple of nights.
