This would be pretty cool, and, unlike some of the other new routes, would actually give them a competitive advantage since there are not other OW carriers flying direct. Right now the OW US-India business is going through LHR/DOH (and also AUH but not OW) and even though the carriers doing it offer better products, people might be convinced by a nonstop.
