I have taken the advice of both of you and achieved the following: (1) a delighted Dad since I will stay in Long Island with him prior to the trip West and immediately following it; (2) a fairly decent price to Phoenix (I could have gotten to London cheaper, but at least I will get to sample the delights of Baltimore Airport on the way to Phoenix!!); (3) am now a proud new member of the Southwest Frequent Flyer program.
