Beware of stand number printed on BP!

I always over check departure screens for gate/time changes. I thought I would go with the flow and be a little more relaxed last week at T5. Fail. I should always stick to type when in the airport!

At home the day before downloaded BP for partner and I onto my phone. I rarely do this but was worried about being rushed on morning of flight and wanted the BPs "to hand". As you might imagine, it's awkward having BPs for two on one phone, as considerate as it is the app now allows that facility. When in Flounge I had helpful guest services print out nice hardcopies. At that point, an hour before the flight, I looked at the "gate" on this new BP and thought, "oh, that's odd, my Berlin flight is leaving from C51". But anyway, BP in hand, just trundled out to C-gates without looking at any further screen in terminal.

Imagine my surprise when I couldn't find C51 out there! I checked with customer services there and after a little tapping they sheepishly said it would be helpful if "they" wouldn't print the stand the plane is parked at rather than the obvious bus gate A10 needed to get there.

So a little rushed walked back to T5A through the tunnels and up/down to A10!

There was time for all of this but I just thought it odd that a BP system [for lack of a better word] allowed for a non airbridge stand to make it onto the BP. Anyone else had similar?

Clearly not as frequent a T5 habitué to know that C51 doesn't exist! But enough to know that it's odd for an A320 to depart from a C-gate! But not impossible, I appreciate.
