Does anyone here know how this works in practice? What sort of discount is to be expected?

The rules demand an "immediate" return of the adult. Do I assume that this means the next scheduled flight, so it could be the next day if there is only one flight a day? (My friend wishes there were more, so he doesn't have to shill out the money for some boring motel, but there simply aren't any more flights offered by WestJet.)

Are there restrictions for redeeming WestJet Dollars for Guardian Fare tickets?
