I know the App route doesn't work. But I have succeeded in printing OLCI via the main BA.com many times. However - in common with several other codeshares - you are allowed a single go at it, and there is no seating selection either. So you best get seating arranged via the EI service centre ahead of OLCI, though I must admit I don't bother, my EI flights are too short to worry about.
If the system thinks you have got your boarding pass printed/saved/emailed on the first occasion, it won't allow you a second go, which it would on a mainstream BA booking. So I don't print, in case my printer plays up, I generally email and print from there.
It's easy enough to change the seating selection at the airport or better still in the Gold Circle lounge if that's applicable.
The boarding pass is a standard BA one, but half the length, none of the notices and adverts. Looks a bit odd, but the bar code is there to get me through NCL/EDI/LHR/LGW/LPL. I've not done GLA-DUB on codeshare but I can't see why that is any different, other GLA codeshares certainly work OK via BA.com
And yes, the BA PNR doesn't get far on AerLingus.com. You can look stuff up, but that's about it. You get what appears to be someway into their check in process, but it doesn't complete.
