I'll be flying one way from BZV-KGL later this year on Rwandair.
I noticed that I could book BZV-KGL-XXX for $50 cheaper.

Is it possible to deplane in KGL and then just leave the airport (provided I have a Rwanda visa, of course)? I'll be travelling with carry-on baggage only. (I know that this is possible for some airports in the US, but I don't want to assume that it's also possible in Africa.)

My concern is that both journeys are on 737-700 aircraft and they only have two. Thus, the second leg might be just a continuation of the first leg. Is it possible, in this case, that they wouldn't let me disembark the plane?
