Hi Wozza...... BA did lie to me. When I was called to the info desk after waiting in Baggage arrivals, they told me my bag would arrive at SFO at 245pm, so it would be delivered that evening.

They must have known that was an unrealistic estimate, but to me, at the time. It was entirely possible.
