I encouraged and, subsequently booked, for my mother to fly to Canda this summer to see family. She has today been told that her eTA has been declined. The refusal letter itself makes no sense: it's a multi-page document listing the possible reasons for refusal but none are indicated in her case. But assuming this isn't fixable and that she can't travel what can I salvage, on her behalf, from this?
The ticket is LCA-LHR-YYZ-LHR-LCA.
The ticket booked into S, V, L, & U.
She paid for seats on all four flights.
I subsequently UUA one of the flights.
My guess is it'll be just the taxes back and they'll be very little, is that correct?
Many thanks to anyone able to help,
B
No first hand experience with ba but it would be good to call and ask as I know a few airlines do offer refunds incase of visa denials... So definately worth a shot!
