Not that have have the money, but this prices don't shock me. Prices in London (Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Belgravia (with a Bakery Poilane!), South Ken, Chelsea) are much more expensive.
I know the area .. it's O.K., near Ile St. Louis and this 1st. class restaurant Tour d'Argent around the corner, also the Arabic Institute ... Actually, I like other areas better 6th/7th and 8th near Av. Montaigne.
BTW, I didn't make to Paris this year, last year I was twice. And now Paris is getting a little cold and wet for me ... Take care - Blair..!
