quick question: Trying to schedule my interview during layover time at IAH Terminal E that requires Boarding Pass.

If I'm arriving from an international flight to IAH and continue with a domestic flight from IAH terminal D, will my boarding pass let me into the secure area of Terminal E?
Will 4 hours layover time in IAH be enough to land, go through immigration, security and customs, be on time for the interview and make the connection flight?
