Couple more datapoints on Premier / Precheck appearing to be 'fixed' - avoiding the big delays of earlier this year.
Sun afternoon around 1...
Less than 5 min precheck, Premier line about 1/4 full in the normal queue.
Non-premier filled the upstairs normal queue.
Monday afternoon around 5:00 primetime...
Precheck looked about 10 min - was not close to filling the normal upstairs queue.
Premier upstairs queue was about half full - about 10 min wait.
Non-Premier was bad - line downstairs stretched all the way past the C2 area - probably 45 minutes plus to clear.
Paying $20 for a la carte Premier Access on a flight might perversely be a good "deal" - I assume you can buy it at the kiosk when you check in if you see the line snaking down.
For Precheck, staying left at the split continues to be the best route. There were 2 ID checkers for the left lane, only the 1 that's shared with Global Services for the right lane.
