Nonsense.

The change was made by the carrier so of course the OP will get the miles refunded. I have the feeling though he'd prefer to stay in F so QR will have to transfer him to a flight with F cabin or offer complimentary cancellation of the ticket. His trip starts in the EU so EC261 applies as well on top of it all.
