I booked a particular cabin, not a particular aircraft type, although I accept that F is only available on the 388. I could try to re-book to the sole remaining 388 flight but that would involve a 23 hour layover on the outbound and a 19 hour layover on the inbound.
QR did the same thing to me last New Year (on a revenue F ticket) but I was able to rebook the return flight on a 388 with an 8 hour layover which I spent in one of hte bedrooms in the Al Safwa.
I will accept the change but my question was more to do with what would happen to the QCredits.
