This seems to contradict what I thought had been a standard and common but unpublished benefit to be able to get a single companion into C+ on a separate PNR, versus the nine on the same PNR (where the latter benefit has wisely been discontinued).
I was denied being able to put a companion on a separate PNR in C+ although I was able to do this on an international flight. I think the rules are a little different, but it was starting to give me a headache talking to the agent about it and I just gave up.
