Did SYD-SIN-DOH-CPH-DUS last year, didn't really expect any problems at SYD check-in, QF staff are usually brilliant across the board so at a hub checkin at an F desk I thought I would be fine...but of course I got the one agent who just didn't want to do it. I got:

- We only check bags though on one ticket
then
- We only check bags through to oneworld airlines
then
- Air Berlin are not a oneworld airline
then
- There are too many sectors

I let her serve the next pax and waited for the other agent to become free, who said "sure no problem at all", tap tap tap, 12 seconds later the bag is tagged to DUS.

So if QF say it can't be done, be persistant.
