Yes, last time I arrived about a fortnight ago, the immigration queue for the D gates was all of the way back into the arrivals hall (i.e. filling the immigration hall, the escalators & stairs and back into the main arrivals area). I walked along to the next part of the airport and went through an empty immigration area (HBO, of course!)
