I've done Excellence Playa Mujeres twice now and absolutely love it, each time with the roof top terrace suite. Beautiful property and staff were amazing. Food was good but not great.

I will say the beach wasn't the greatest, it's narrow but the sand is very nice (but not in my top 5 world beach list).

I will say I throughly enjoyed my time there, but I will concede it's not a 5 star property; more like a 4 or 4.5.
