I've very new to this, but trying to eventually earn economy tickets to Australia for me and my wife out of NYC. Signed up for a CSP a couple of months ago and should get the bonus this month. Planning on having my wife sign up for the Ink Plus business card soon for the 60K bonus...but I haven't really started any kind of research into the best partners to use to get to Australia yet.

But my wife now has a short notice trans con flight on Alaska coming up and I'm trying to figure which airline makes the most sense to earn miles from with our ultimate goal in mind? I've been setting aside weekend time for the last couple of weeks to try and educate myself on the topic, since we just made the goal recently, but I wasn't expecting either of us to have the opportunity to earn miles via travel until the fall.
