I need your assistance on similar issue.
I have one booked ticket through af
From cdg to SYD via HKG : class fare R
From SYD to CDG via shangai: class fare Q

Booking class R is non eligible for upgrade with miles but Q is, the rules are so not tranparent that i am confused. I called already FB but with no help.

Can anyone tell me the procedure of "upgrade on departure day" as i am quite interesting on that (is it really worth it etc., takes long time et)
