karfa i think the agent has been confused over a change which was made to the service fee applied when changes are made to a Uua booking.


If you have a commercial booking and upgrade there is no fee to add it initially just the additional cash and avios.

*****however if you have a commercial booking which you have Uua and then later wish to change it then there is the fare and 'tax' difference and change fee and now there would also be the fees of £35 amendment and potentially the £15 channel fee.


The change is that the redemption fees rather than £30 commercial fee is now applied for changes on a Uua.



****** however as mentioned many times and after re reading the op again if the booking was originally booked with avios then for any changes including upgrades the £35 applies even for golds.


This part is absolutely not a new fee.
