Be aware with rocket miles

I was pricing a hotel using them and Expedia - same room, hotel and dates yet the rocket miles room was more expensive.

Out of sheer curiosity I checked the price for buying the same number of avios and it was the same as the 'premium' rocket miles were charging. Same as if I'd gone for VS miles as well.

I suppose one advantage of using rocket miles etc is that it gets around the limit on buying avios.
