As a 12yr old in the late 50's the luggage labels were the football cards of the day for local kids around the airport. There were offices in the Queens Building and we use to sneek in to 'borrow' as many tags as we could. We could also get onto the airside without too much difficulty - the hangers were great for getting more luggage tags! No on thought about security!!
