On http://www.lan.com/cgi-bin/retros/pa...2700.435417754 , it says one should be able to request missing LATAM flight miles 3 days after the flight. At the call centre they say this is wrong, it should be 10 days for both LATAM and non-LATAM flights. In any case the missing miles form is offline, obviously.

Yesterday, their site said that "today, the 5th of May", the site would experience some issues. Today, that same message is sounded only with the date updated to today's date. I'm certain we'll be having trouble with LATAM's systems for weeks or months to come, unfortunately.

As for it being the worst system integration, I can't say for sure, but I do remember the United and Continental merger, the way they were doing it step by step, over a long timeframe - during an intermediate period, you could transfer miles back and forth at no cost, and they retained Continental's award booking backbone in the new United system after the definitive merger and name change went through. They mixed and matched with the best parts of each airline. With this, LATAM is trying to make a whole new site, new systems (it would seem), no gradual roll-out, lack of information... wow... everything is just a total mess.
