I just got messaged again by AS by a different twitter agent. They apologized for the "Confusion". Travel includes some, not all LAN partners (exc. Columbia). I could not get them to acknowledge that LAN are the operators, not the marketing carrier - which the MP does not distinguish. Apparently LATAM only extends to the LA part...for now.
And as of writing this, they said they'll "check into this LATAM airlines to see if it merged with LAN"

As noted LATAM's oneworld partners all restrict some LA and TAM operations, often by country. I would assume this is mostly due to LA and TAM as these restrictions are fairly uniform across the alliance. See for example what AA credits:
