I have a companion fare code to use by May 16. Information at the top of this thread says that once booked, changes can be made but can not be extended further than 330 days out.
The Companion Fare Discount Code FAQ on Alaska's website states 12 months
"The expiration date listed on your companion fare discount code indicates the date by which you must redeem your discount code and purchase your fare. Once ticketed, travel can be completed after the expiration date. 12 months from date of issue."
Does anyone have experience with this?
