This is 2016. Who does not have a wifi equipped device in their pocket or carry-on? Stream the entertainment through a local network whether or not there is internet access, save the weight, save the cost of purchase and give us space.
I rather suspect that available miniaturization could allow a box the approximate size of a portable hard drive - if not a cigarette pack.

Gordon Moore was wrong in this instance.
